Moulds

Each Dentist/Practitioner may wish to choose the mould of tooth themselves. If so, the mould charts for each tooth are available from Designer Dentition when you join us. As an alternative , you may wish to prefer us to select the correct mould of tooth. This is often much easier in the laboratory , once the impressions are cast and articulated.

Below are some examples of different upper anterior teeth moulds.

Square Tooth Moulds

With this angular shape , the central incisor is dominant. The gingivo-incisal curvature is moderate and the residual ridge is marketedly square, indicating a normal bite.

Trianguler Tooth Mould


This group is charecterized by teeth having a rejuvenating crown which tapers towards the cervical ridge . The gingivo-incisal curvature is moderate. The large central incisor has an attractive , slightly trianguler shape . The residual ridge is also trianguler, indicating a cross byte.

Oval Tooth Moulds


The Teeth of this category have pronounced gingivo-incisal curvature. The oval residuel ridge often indicates an overbite
